Our Beliefs

Welcome, friend. Below you will find the heart of what we believe and live. These are not cold doctrines, but living truths that shape our daily walk with Christ, the Inward Teacher.

1. God and Eternal Reward

We believe in the one true God, who rewards all who love and revere Him with eternal joy. Those who turn away from Him will face judgment.
Scripture: Hebrews 11:6; Revelation 22:12; Romans 2:5–8; Psalm 9:17

2. The Trinity

There are three who bear witness in heaven—the Father, the Word (Christ), and the Spirit. These three are truly one.
Scripture: 1 John 5:7

3. Jesus Christ, the Son of God

The Word became flesh and dwelt among us as Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the Father. He died for every person, so that by His Spirit we may die to sin and rise to new life.
Scripture: John 1:14; Matthew 3:17; Hebrews 2:9

4. Justification and Repentance

We are justified by Christ alone, not by our works. Yet this grace calls us to repentance and newness of life. Only those who walk in the Spirit, not in the flesh, are truly justified.
Scripture: Romans 3:22–26; Romans 8:1–4; 1 John 1:7

5. Christ, the True Light

Christ is the Light of the world, enlightening every person and offering grace upon grace. By His Spirit, He teaches us to deny ungodliness and live with righteousness and godliness.
Scripture: John 1:9, 14; John 8:12; Titus 2:11–12

6. The Inward Light and Grace

This divine Light shows us our sins, reproves us, and leads us out of darkness if we will obey. Those who refuse its reproof will die in their sins, unable to enter where Christ is.
Scripture: Ephesians 5:13; John 16:7; Proverbs 1:20–24; John 8:24

7. True Worship

Worship must spring from the inward work of Christ’s Spirit. Prayer, praise, and preaching offered without His power are but empty forms.
Scripture: Romans 8:26; 1 Peter 4:10–11

8. Worship in Spirit and Truth

God is Spirit, and we worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. In our gatherings, we wait upon the Lord until His Spirit moves us to speak or pray, so that ministry may come with power and not mere words.
Scripture: John 4:23–24; 1 Thessalonians 1:5; Isaiah 55:1; Revelation 22:17; Matthew 10:8

9. Simplicity of Life

We are led to turn away from the vain fashions of the world, seeking moderation and simplicity in all things. Our lives should witness to Christ’s inward work.
Scripture: Titus 2:12; Romans 12:2; Philippians 4:5; Ecclesiastes 12:14; Matthew 16:27; Romans 2:6; Revelation 20:12

10. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper

We believe in the spiritual baptism of Christ and His inward supper with those who open their hearts to Him. While we do not practice outward sacraments, we respect those who do in good conscience.
Scripture: Matthew 3:11; Ephesians 4:5; 1 Peter 3:21–22; John 6; Revelation 3:20

11. Government and Authority

We honor government as ordained by God, submitting in obedience or patient suffering. Good government is a blessing, restraining evil and upholding what is good.
Scripture: Romans 13:1–5

These beliefs are not lifeless rules, but a living way of walking with Christ, the true Light who guides, corrects, and sustains us in love.
